TruLens Poster Design

Poster Design for futuristic AR + VR lenses. The idea behind the name is technically from “Experience the Truth” from the second poster. I felt that this name was perfect for this because it’s simple and it also says exactly what the product is. Of course, I don’t think that VR+AR lenses are a plausible product, at least during our time, but I always thought it would be so cool if something like that existed so that definitely made me excited to make it up on my own!

Postcard Design

Our design is all about encouraging our recipients to break barriers and stand out from the rest of the crowd. We understand that choosing a career is not easy, so we aim to facilitate that process with our piece. In the front cover, we introduce the recipient’s major of interest with a relevant image. The image is broken down into a grid that highlights the person working in the major’s respective field, which shows the way the student recipient can break out of the norms if they join the respective program at the University of Houston.

Kore Makeup Branding

Kore is for the creators, the artists, and the professionals. Our customers care about the well-being of others and the planet, so it’s important to highlight what we do to help. The design of Kore packaging is minimalistic and luxurious, highlighting the brand’s Logo and name.

Package Design

Bottle Design

Using Esko and Adobe products, I designed this glass bottle based on one of my favorite drinks and giving it a whole new look. The purpose of this was to bring a "classy" look to a drink that usually comes in a can, while maintaining the same design elements from the original packaging. Along with creating the bottles, I designed a shrink wrap for the bottles to come neatly packaged in.

Welcome to my portfolio site, my name is Ana Cecilia Ruiz, and I'm the amazing mastermind behind all the works presented on this page! I have a strong passion for design, page layout, and art.
I'm a Digital Media student at the University of Houston, Graduating in Spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Technology.
One thing to know about me is that I'm the most loyal worker out there and I get stuff done fast! Whether you need inspiration and ideas for a logo in a couple of hours, or you need a billboard designed in less than a day, I got you!
